Padstack Editor not showing all my directories

I'm following a Robert Feranec tutorial on YouTube to familiarize myself with Cadence/Allegro. I've made a new project, schematic, and library within Allegro Design Entry CIS. I'm trying to make a new padstack in the Padstack Editor and save the padstack within same directory as the project. My project directory is in "Documents\ORCAD TUTORIALS".  When I open the dialogue to select the new padstack save location, I can only get as far as "Documents\", and it shows it as an empty directory. Why is Padstack Editor not showing the contents of "Documents\"? I'm a long time Altium user so I'm not familiar with the Cadence/Allegro way of doing things. I'm sure after I learn some of the ground rules I'll start learning quickly.

    Hi Hormel09, 

    I've seen a similar issue occur when there are many files in a folder or or file sizes are too big. Could you please try tinkering with the following two variables and see if it fixes your issue?

    In case you want to copy/paste in the search bar, the variables are: 

    new_filedialog_disable

    new_filedialog_fast_icons

    Let me know how it goes!
