Generic symbols

Hello Everyone,

I'm working on Allegro Design V22 and I am creating a new components library. The library have to be the most generic possible.

In the case of connectors or IC's with 50+ pins i will create homogeneous part with X section corresponding to the pins.

my questions is :

- Is there a simple/fast way to have the "Value" attribute only showed on the first section (for pin 1) and not on the others sections ?  I know i can supp on each sections but I want to save time.

- Is there a way  to have the part reference on the pin name automatically for each sections ?

Thank you in advance for your time,

Bests regards,

Using GUI, if we turn off display of Value property for any section, it gets turned off for all other sections as well.

Also, there is no direct and automated way to have reference on pin name. If Reference prefix is J then you can try using pin name as J1, J2.... Once you place pin J1, next time, it will automatically suggests you to use J2 and J3 and so on...
