How to determine in which software version footprint was created?

Hello,

I have a thousands of footprints made in various Allegro versions. With the new Allegro 23.1 I am unable to open footprints made in Allegro 16.6 and olders, as well as old padstack in the Padstack Editor 2023. I know that the old libraries can be upgraded with the DBDoctor, but is there any way to upgrade only these files that really need it? Or is there any other option to export the software version information from the .dra file?

You can invoke dbdoctor outside Allegro from the start menu and then browse to the folder where you have the files and then in the end of the path you can give wild character * EG: C:\Users\padstack\*.pad or C:\Users\library\*.dra this cna be done to upgrade the files.

to know the version of a  file in the command prompt use dbstat *.dra
