same pin number connected to more than one net for two identical hierarchal blocks.

in my top schematic, i have two instances of the same schematic. every pin in the two instances pop up an error "this pin number is connected to more than one net". in the annotation process, while reseting the annotation, i've noticed that when i annotate in the "update instances(preffered)" mode, the components in the instances have the same numbering. while switching to "update occurrences" the components are now different, but the error remains the same. while clicking on one pin, it says its connected it's parallel pin in the other occurrence. how do i fix this? the way i've places the instances in my top design: place-> place hierarchical block -> implementation type= schematic view, implementation name = *name of schematic*, reference: different name for each instance.

The steps you have used to place the hierarchical blocks looks fine. In the implementation name you would have selected the schematic from the drop down menu i assume.
Can you share the screenshot to understand the problem clearly specially where you say "it says its connected it's parallel pin in the other occurrence."
