Design SYNC net import

Nayyier Kazi
Nayyier Kazi over 1 year ago

I am using Allegro v22.1-2022,

IN Allegro PCB editor , If R1.pin1 has net name "D0" and U1.pin1 has net name "S1" BY using NET LOGIC command we can assign "D0" of R1pin1 to U1.pin1.

now the question is can we import this change to ORCAD CAPTURE schematic by using design sync command or any other method? it is doing problem.

Thanks.

Basically, from schematic perspective, one net is being deleted i.e. S1 in this case. Backannotation (Update schematic) process will not do that. Any specific deletion or creation can't be done by this. It is schematic driven flow where you need to do these type of changes in schematic first and then you can take them to layout.

    Hope it addresses your concern.

One network, S1, is being removed in this situation. The backannotation (update schematic) technique will not do that.
