OrCAD 22.1 Ghostscript Not Able to Create PDF For Entire Schematic Using Hierarchical Design

CHBIO
CHBIO over 1 year ago

I'm using Ghostscript 10.03 and am unable to export my entire hierarchical design to PDF. I am selecting the .dsn file and going to File >Export > PDF and here is the window:

I am printing to my local Documents folder. Here is how my hierarchical design looks without expanding each schematic section:

The PDF export only generates the pages in the first schematic titled "01...". In the Session Log, I get the following information:

(::capPdfUtil::printPdf) Output Directory : c:\users\user_name\documents\test Output File : test.pdf
(::capPdfUtil::printPdf) Annotating page objects for 01 XX: PAGE1
(::capPdfUtil::printPdf) Generating PDF file from postscript ....
(::capPdfUtil::printPdf) Successful: GPL Ghostscript 10.03.0: Page object was reserved for an Annotation destination, but no such page was drawn, annotation in output will be invalid.

Does anyone know a fix?

    Hi Sirena,

    Good to see that making the correct root schematic helped in creating the complete PDF of the hierarchical design.
