Sharing a component in the shared workspace

OrCAD X Capture CIS provides an amazing feature to share your local workspace components to the shared workspace, which will help other designers to access these components.

Follow these steps to share your components to your cloud workspace:

  • Open Component Explorer from Place > Component. 
  • Right-click on the component and select Publish.

  • This will open the Publish Part dialog box. Here, specify the target workspace where you want the component to be published for sharing.

  • After selecting Publish, the component will be shared in your shared workspace.
