Hello,

We are using Capture 16.6-p005(v16-6-112D) for schematic design.

REcently I got a strange issue. When I press P for Part Placement, blank is shown instead of parts.I can not find Parts to place. I am sharing picture for the reference.

It's a licensed old version. I reinstalled the Orcad but same issue. Any help will be appreciated.

Regards

    Try using following steps:

    1. Close Capture if it is already running.
    2. Go to Start >> Run >> type “regedit” and click on registry editor to open it and Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Orcad\ and delete the CaptureWorkSpace and CaptureWorkSpaceEx folders. It is recommended to keep a backup of registry before editing it by File > Export.
    3. Run Capture and check if issue still persists.

Let me know how it goes for you after performing the steps, are you able to resolve your issue regarding blank Place Part window?
