Grid Settings in OrCAD Capture

Grids in Capture help designers organize and place all components in the best way possible. Managing your schematic grids effectively will increase the part placement efficiency and help you design a visually appealing and organized schematic.

You can change grid settings and update according to your preferences in Capture from Options > Design Template > Grid Reference.

You can also set the grid display according to your preferences from Options > Preferences > Grid display (tab).

You can specify if the connectivity and drawing objects can be moved on the Fine, Coarse or Master grid.
