How to replace single part in orcad CIS

How to replace single part by preserving the same reference without replacing all parts in orcad CIS?

    Try using the following steps:

    1. Go to Options > CIS Preferences > Extended CIS Linking.
    2. Choose Preserve Reference Designator as Linking Option.
    3. Select the part on the schematic page, RMB and choose Link Database Part and select Link to selected occurrence only , this will open CIS Explorer and you can choose the part with which you want to replace.
