OrCAD Tip of the week: Saving session log contents to text file

While working on schematic designs, there a lot of commands and messages dumped in the Session Log window. However, to scroll and view data and find any specific value in it becomes very difficult.

OrCAD Capture provides an option to dump the entire session log into a text file so that you can use a text editor to examine it and preserve a copy of the log.

With the Session Log window activated, select File > Save to save this file in .txt format at your preferred location.
