Files automatically added to Capture project

I am using Allegro Design Entry CIS for Schematic capture and Allegro PCB editor for layout, both on V22.1.

I have found that Capture will automatically add layout (.brd) and module (.mdd) files in the allegro layout subfolder. I have automatic backup enabled in Allegro PCB, which keeps five rotating backups of my design in the allegro folder. These end up getting added to the project along with any other modules creating during the design. This makes the layout folder messy, and makes it difficult to find the master .brd file.

Is there a way to turn off this behaviour, so that only those layout files manually added will be shown?

This is already known behavior and Cadence Change Request is already in place for this.

Thank you for your comment. What is the requested new behaviour? Only manually added files?
