It seems that in the selected database there are no tables which you can configure.

Which type of database you are trying to configure?

Suppose If you are using MS-Access database and there is no table defined in .MDB file you will get this Warning message.

Add Table in the selected Data source and then try to configure Database.

    Hope this helps!

I believe after adding Table in the Excel Database you are able to configure the database in OrCAD Capture without any issues.

Let me know how it goes for you after adding the table are you able to configure the excel database at your end?

    Hai Vishwajeet,

Actually I was able to configure the CIS when the excel file was present in the local directory, like when configuring the ODBC Data Source, system DSN, if the Excel file is the local directory we were able to configure the CIS without any problem, but when the Excel file is in the network location, we are able to browse and create the ODBC configuration but when we configure the CIS setup in the Capture there we were facing this problem.

Is this due to anti-virus or network blocking or is there any other cause for it?

    Regards,

    Rohit Rohan

Great that you were able to configure the database by keeping locally!

What permissions (read/ read and write) are you having to the file directory where the database is present on network ?
