Off-page connector annotation freezes the program

I am working on a schematic for my company, but any time I try to run the off-page connector annotation, the program freezes and refuses to respond to anything. It will not exit the annotation screen, respond to clicking anywhere, and will not allow me to click the X to close it. I have to force close it through the task manager in order to get it to stop. All other annotation methods work fine for me, so I'm not sure what's going wrong. Does anyone know how to fix this issue?

Which version and hotfix of the tool you are using?

Can you try with the sample schematic designs present at ->C:\Cadence\SPB_23.1\tools\capture\samples\Schematic

Are you using any TCL Customization for running off page connector annotation at your end? Which annotation mode you are choosing?
