Adding an encrypted Pspice model into orcad capture

Hello everyone,

I am facing issues with importing encrypted Pspice files into a schematic . Right now the format of the part is in .txt format and .olb format. Could someone explain what is the right method to import an encrypted Ppsice model into CIS.

Thank you

The OLB file contains binary data for the graphical part to place in Capture, Place>Part and use the Add Library icon to add the OLB file and the part can be placed in a schematic page. The TXT file might be encrypted, a quick check with a text editor should confirm whether the contents are readable, or not. Some text about "encrypt" and blocks of text that are not "English" would confirm encryption. Rename the TXT file to have a LIB file extension and the library can be added through PSpice>Edit Simulation Profile and then Configuration File and Library, use the upper Browse button to locate the renamed LIB file, select and OK, then left-click>Add to Design and OK. Obviously, a TXT file could be "anything" and the TXT file that you have may in no way be related to any PSpice model.
