Orcad X Capture taking long time to start with error "Cannot access API because the system time is not correct..."

I was away for couple of days and now when I start Orcad X Capture 24.1, I get an error message as below after Capture seemingly hangs for a good couple of minutes. I've reinstalled, gone back to base, hotfix 1 and hotfix 2, and I get the same error. After the error pops up and I dismiss it by clicking OK, the start page show up and everything works normally.

Any ideas how to resolve? I am running Windows 11, 24H2 update.

This issue is now gone. My suspicion is that it was trying to connect to some api hosted on the Cadence side and was holding it and returning the error. I wonder what Cadence APIs it tries to connect to at startup? Can I run Orcad X Pro suite truely offline without disconnecting the PC from the network? Capture takes a good amount of time to start up and I wonder if some of is that due to the latency due to cloud connections it tries to make.

The issue has been fixed by Cadence can you try now to invoke OrCAD X now and let me know how much time is taking now to start up?

    Hello,

Yes, it has been resolved. I wish there was a way to know this was due to a cloud issue. I spend an hour+ uninstalling, re-installing, and reconfiguring settings from scratch assuming my PC was corrupt. It takes forever to uninstall and install.

It now takes 18 seconds from when I click the icon to when the startup page shows up with nothing else running. I have Win 11, i9-13950hx with 64GB of memory with Samsung 980 Pro SSD and Nvidia GPU (in other words, my PC is not the bottleneck).

Thanks for looking into it and responding, though. That is much appreciated.
