hello
I have several questions about this issue:
1. About creating netlist after I click tools->create netlist->Other
why there is necessity for DLL if I user formatter
2. What is the benefit and purpose of each formatter
3.I succeeded to create netlist but I tried to use CFG file
it didn't work I don't know why. I tried to import several details(Nets from my all schematics) from ONL file
I would like to know how to use it correctly for each formatter
for example orDump64.dll
4)There is possibility to create my own DLL?
if so how to do it

Best regards

    Hello,

1.It specifies in which netlist format you want to export the netlist of a schematic design.

    2. Document link which explains various netlist formats -OrCAD Capture User Guide -- Netlisting a Design

    3. Specify a configuration file that contains the properties to be transferred to the .ONL file. The .ONL file is an intermediate file for all netlists in the Other tab. OrCAD Capture creates a .ONL file and this file is referred while creating the netlists. Note that all properties in the .ONL file might not be present in the netlists because some of the properties might be ignored.

DUMP netlist format i.e., orDump64.dll --This format produces a flat netlist containing all the information on the schematic pages. In this netlist no information is omitted or changed.

    4. Which properties are you expecting in netlist format?

    2. I have seen the Docomuntation there was helpful but there is serveral issues
3.I read the section in "help" function in Capture 17.4 but I would like to know how to use CFG file on this format. there is a sample in help function that doesn't work on. I would like for example show in 4 section
4.For example I would like to use to omit pin type field for every net

By the way you have mention that there might be field that doesn't appear on ONL file my question is what it depends the appearance in ONL file
or in other words what is my restriction for a field to be appear in ONL file first and then I can filtter my netlist with cfg file.

    Best regards
