Orcad capture 17.2 all pages do not print to PDF

avant
avant 7 months ago

Something changed recently. When I try to print a PDF from Orcad 17.2, all options in the panel are blank. I fill in the options and only one page will print. Reopening the schematic, all options are blank again.

If I open the schematic in 17.4, the print options are checked and all pages print.

It seems like there may be a config file for 17.2 that is corrupt and I cannot change?

Any idea what and where to look into?

Can you share a snapshot from File > Print of version 17.2, what options are blank?

    Hi

On Capture 17.2, I use the option "Export to PDF" to generate a pdf file of the schematic. You will need to install the GhostScript driver for the printing to work.

There is an app-note available here

    https://www.parallel-systems.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/Capture_PDF_Generation.pdf

After you install the GS Driver, Update the path in capture PDF Export window to where the GS executable is on disk.

Hopefully this will resolve your issue.

    Best Regards
