Impossible to modify color of a part in occurrence

Adam
Adam 6 months ago

Hello,

In Orcad X 24.1-2024-S003

In Hierarchical design, if i have multiple blocks, i can select a part and click right to open "Edit proprieties"

In the "Property Editor" there is the Property "Color" that permit to modify color of the all instance or any occurrence.

If i modify the color of a specific occurrence nothing happen.

Can someone handle this bug ?

Thank-you

I tried this at my end and I am able to change the color of occurrence without any issues, is it a schematic design specific issue?

I would say that, whilst it is possible to change the assigned color property value within the Occurrences properties, the actual color displayed is always derived from the color property value assigned to the Instances.

It is possible to up it to developers ?
Because the only way to custom occurrences is to use BOM variants and because it's not possible to modify schematic in variant view, it is not always a great solution.
