OrCAD X Properties Editor behavior

PurdueMark

Just upgraded to OrCAD X Pro plus (from 17.4 academic license),   now have an annoying change in the behavior of capture properties editor.  If I select multiple components and then right click and choose Edit Properties.... I get the Property Editor spreadsheet.   I then change the footprint to lets say SMR0805, no problem.   But now when I click and drag the lower right corner to drag/copy to the cells below , I get behavior similar to an Excel spreadsheet in that the cells below become SMR806, SMR807, SMR808, etc.....     is there some way to turn this off?  return to the old simple copy?

This is already known behavior and Cadence Change Request (CCR) is already in place for this.
