Correct use of GLAPLACE, ELAPLACE, or LAPLACE elements

Hi,

I've been struggling to get the correct step response from some circuits containing GLAPLACE, ELAPLACE, and LAPLACE elements (separately). Is anyone able to show me an example of a circuit containing one of those elements, that works properly?

Thanks!

Both inherently function in the same way. It just that Elaplace is created to cater to requirement of differential input and double-ended output with structure in sync with available E and G parts whereas Laplace works more as control function part.

For laplace part you need to specify numerator and denominator whereas for Elaplace the XFORM needs to be filled. Also it has been mentioned in Pspice user guide "The gain and phase characteristic (of Elaplace) is the same as that shown for the equivalent control system part example using the LAPLACE part." So it can be inferenced that provided both are connected in same manner, there should not be any difference in output. However there can be difference in Transient and AC analysis results of Laplace Block.

We will have to see if there are different examples for all of these.
