Cloud File Manager History

Hi,

In the OrCAD Cloud File Manager, I encounter an error whenever I try to download a historical version of any file. Please see the attached screenshot for reference.

I really like the new Cloud File Manager, but it does seem a bit buggy at times.

Could you please advise on how to resolve this issue?

    This is already known behavior and Cadence Change Request (CCR) is already in place for this issue.

    Hi Jeet,

    This is Ben, unfortunately due to sharing the link to the screenshot my account completely banned from the forum. I've contacted cadence left and right to fix it but folks are a bit slow on responding.

    Anyway I finally decided to create another account to reply.

    1. First, Thanks for your response. Its very valuable to know this is a known issue and is actively working on. Our company is a client of Cadence. I've worked with Allegro for more than 10yrs and this file manager is a extremely good feature to have. Unfortunately though sometimes the sync replace newer file on one machine with older version. This causes data loss and extremely frustrating.
    And now the history does not work at all so we cant revert to the newer version. So data completely lost here. Is there any way we can do a workaround? Are the data on Cadence cloud stored or the history feature is completely broken

    3. Is there any way to access the internal CCR progress. like I can share the CCR code with our local distributor and they can lmk of the progress.

    4. Whats the time frame for this? is it server side only or we need to wait till next hotfix

    5. Is there any paid solution that we can use that is more reliable than the File Manager Cloud Service. I saw this OnCloud Platform but don't know much about it.

    Fun fact, having a meeting today regarding this and just when I wanted to demo to him the issue, voila its fixed and worked.

    Was my post a trigger or was it just an happy coincident? ;)
