Use special characters (superscripts) in Pin names

I want to use superscripts in pin names, for example TE2_0N¹/NC². When I generate netlist I get this error:

ERROR(SPCODD-409): Error at line 16 while loading the C:\USERS\AAAA\DOCUMENTS\PROJECTS\XYZ\allegro\pstxnet.dat file. Unable to create the following new pin instance, TE2_0N¹/NC², as the pin definition was not found.

I have already tried creating new symbol (from "Error During netlist creation in Orcad Capture 17.2" post) and that did not fix it. I'm using 24.1 version. If Cadence does not support superscripts, is there a list of symbols/characters that are allowed? I tried a ' and " but that did not work always as I get syntax error issues.

    Hi,

Superscript characters like ² or special symbols such as single quotes (’) in pin names are not supported in Capture and will cause netlisting errors.

This error typically occurs when the tool cannot find a matching pin definition due to unsupported characters or mismatched names between the schematic and the packaged data.

You can rename the pin using only standard alphanumeric characters, underscores (_), or hyphens (-)

Additionally, you can refer to below article on ASK portal for this specific error code:

    Hope this helps!
