Which version of OrCAD you are using ?

Can you check whether you have set the environment variable i.e., CDSROOT you can set the CDSROOT by the following steps-

    1.  Go to This PC > Right Mouse Button click > Properties > Advanced System Settings.
    2. In the Advanced tab, select Environment Variables.
    3. In the Environment Variables dialog box, look for the CDSROOT variable in the User variables section. Make sure it is pointing to the latest SPB installation.
    4.  Also, check the same settings for path variables under user variables. If the below mentioned values is missing from path variable, edit the path variable as explained above with these values:

Let me know how it goes for you after adding CDSROOT and PATH variable.

MFC140.dll is a Microsoft distributed component and part of the Visual Studio 2015 components provided with Windows. This can either be installed from the tools\msbase\vn2015 folder of the installation of obtained from Microsoft resources. Install both x86 and x64 versions from the resources. Like the 17.4 Release, the 2015 components are no longer supported by Microsoft which may explain why they are missing from your Windows installation.
