Net is not getting highlighted

Hi,

I have prepared a schematic which consists of Power supply section which is a rectifier section and named the negative side of the rectifier by selecting a Ground from the design cache. Then I connected the Ground with a hierarchical port to extend the schematic to the next page which is an Inverter section. Here, after the schematic completion, when I click on signals options by right clicking the Ground net at the rectifier section section, it is getting highlighted (Ground signal) at the rectifier section. But at the inverter section next page, it is not getting highlighted. I checked the properties of the net at the inverter section which is a hierarchical port named as Ground. In the properties, I got two options under the Nets section namely, GND and VSS (VSS is another net for signal Ground). I changed the Net name to Ground. But still it is not getting highlighted. Why is this?
