Viewing datasheets in orcad cip

I have an orcad cip database set up on my local machine using microsoft sql server and i have a collection of datasheets if i use the web address for the datasheets i am able to view the datasheet in the orcad cip database and by using the app from the parallel systems website i can view it in the capture schematic canvas by clicking the appropriate menu.

Unfortunately sometimes when i am on the road i dont have access to the internet so i am unable to view the datasheets  so i changed the web address of the datasheet to an address on my local machine such as this C:\Cadence\CIP-E\Datasheets\Yageo\RC0402FR-073KL.pdf  i can now see them in the capture schematic canvass and cis but i cant view them in cip.

What do i have to do to view them in both cip and capture and cis

    You are viewing the datasheets through a browser and no modern browser will allow direct access to a disk based resource. You can create a virtual directory with IIS, which will then provide you with an "http / https" route the datasheets, they will then be available to any browser technology.

    Thanks    i set up a virtual directory by going into IIS  under administrative and navigate to the CIP website and right clicking on the CIS website and clicking add virtual directory i fill in the dialog box alias became datasheets (this can be whatever you want as it is the directory under the left hand tree structure under cis and Physical path is wher the datasheets directory is. In my case "C:\Cadence\CIP-E\Datasheets" we can now close IIS in CIS under the datasheet entry i now put "localhost/CIP-E\Datasheets\Yageo\RC0402FR-073KL.pdf"   i can now display the datasheet from CIP  from the capture schematic canvas the CIS window and also from internet explorer.
