Allegro Free Viewer

I'm currently having a board routed by a comany that uses Allegro.  To review the work, I would like to use the Allegro free viewer but I am having trouble getting the download to work.  I've created an account and am logged in.  When I get to the page where the download link for the zip file is located, I click on it and it takes me to a page with an error 404 and then redirects me to a default cadence page.

Thanks for any help you can give.

I don't get a 404 page not found.  Are you on a different page whan you get the error?

Yes, that seems to be the page I started from.  I click on the Allegro Free physical viewer -16X link.  This takes me to a page that allows me to check a box next to "parts viewer" and/or "Allegro Free Physical Viewer".  I check the box next to the physical viewer and click submit.  This takes me to a page with three hyper links, one for each version of the physcial viewer.  For version 16 the link is as follows:  http://www.cadence.com/downloads/allegroviewers/files/allegro_free_viewer_16-0-setup.zip

When I click on this link it goes to the Error 404 page.

I talked to a cadence support person today and they said that there may be an ongoing problem with there site because they just modified a bunch of pages.  They thought it would be fixed today but now they said probably not until monday.  Thus, I'm very interested that you seem to be able to access the program without problems today and would like to do the same somehow.

Yeah, you're on the right page.  I'm getting the download OK.  So its unclear what the issue is,so we will investigate.

In the meantime, will send you access to the file.

Sounds good, thanks so much.  Just let me know how to access the file and I'll be all set.

The Error 404 "Page not found" could possibly be your firewall. Are you trying to download through your company internet (firewall), or home router? Sometimes I run into it when I'm trying to access a site my home router firewall has issues with.
