Trying to extract all the data from a padstack

All thanks in advance for any help at all on this?

I am rying to build an an external database such as an excel worksheet with all of the data element to a padstack suh as wheat you would see in the padstack editor form. I am having difficutly finding all the elements though. can anyone direct me to where in the manual it listing on all the datatypes in a padstack.

I can easily get a list of pads by pinList=axlDBGetDesign->Padstacks but in parsing through that list I can seem to find hanles for all the data elements in the padstack for instance in the parameters tab in the padstack editor there is a field type that has 3 different types Throug, Blind/Buried, and Single. There is no handle for type but I can do car(pinList)->isThrough and it returns t or nil. thsi doesn't map into the 3 choices at all! I also can't find any handle what so ever for hole type, plating and tolerance

    Hey Carl,

I know you were looking for a SKILL solution but you can actually run a Padstack Definition Report (report -v pad) on the actually padstack in batch mode.

    report -v pad carl_padstack.pad carl_padstack_report.txt

The default output file name is "pad_rep.txt" but you can specify the output file name as indicated above "carl_padstack_report.txt". This report will contains all the information inside of the padstack in sort of a csv format which can be imported into Excel.

    Hope this helps,

I want to extract an data in the below mentioned format

Padstack name - FILMMASKTOP - Width - Height
