Getting area of shape

Hi,

Does anyone know of a command to get the area of a shape?

If I do a display -> element inside PCB Editor and select e.g., a placebound_top then one of the informationsshown is the area of the shape.

Hi Ole,

create a polygon object from the desired shape object then grab the area property of the poly object

 
shape_poly = car( axlPolyFromDB( your_shape_dbid))shape_area = shape_poly->area
