Help Needed on New Plugin Development: Cross Probe between PDF and Allegro

Hi Guys

I  am trying to develop a new plugin for Acrobat which will make cross probing from schematic to Allegro easier

The problem with Concept is you can only select one component at a time

I know that each object in the Schematic PDF has an underlying attribute

I need help/pointers for the following

 1. Is there a way you can communicate between allegro to acrobat both ways? if so any documentation/example

my plan is to grep for $location attribute inside the pdf and convert to lists based upon the user selection, and highlight the components in those lists using Skill

I hope to get some help and pointers in the right direction, and will appreciate any kind of help

p.s.

I know that there is a company who is selling a product like this, But I want to save some money and do some programming

Regards

Venkata

If You have the Acrobat and it is registered, then go to the Adobe Acrbat forum and user sites to find a lot of Acrobat based script, and then when You do know how to, getting info out of the PDF, then use it in Allegro, but i do belive You have to go through a tmp file.

Unless... Unless it is possible to controll skills and Allegro behaivior from XML files ?
