script for finding different trace widths on a net on a layer

There is a report that does the entire net, netwidth/length by layer. I would like a script that would allow me to select one net and it would tell me the width/length for that net on that layer.

Thanks Dave, this is a great script! I'd be interested in knowing how you came to be proficient at writing Skill code? Are there resources you could point to that were helpful? Did you know any other programming languages already? Best Andrew
