control on Artwork general parameters

I am able to create the artwork films using axlDBCreateFilmRec, How to get control on artwork general parameter settings?

I want to change the 'Device type' 'Error action' 'output units' etc

I didn't find any axl command for this.

Hi Nagaraj
You can do it by writing a script file and replaying that script. Both the script and the replay can be performed inside a script program.

I can use script and call using axlshell command but I am looking for how can be done with SKILL code
or
is there any global userpeference variable to point the art_param.txt file to be used for all designs(and all users)?

There are two ways of doing this. I prefer Ole's method - and I have a stand alone Skill function to do this (attached). The second, and possbly easier, method is to write the art_param.txt file directly. The hard part here will be determining the names of the parameters in the file. Regards, Dave

Hi Dave,

i try to run your skill setArtworkGeneralParameters but it won't works, here is the error appear "E- Can't find window; form.film_control"
