Zoom in skill code

Tolstoy

Hello to all the Skill Gurus,

I'm in need of a skill code that will do the following:

1. Run the Dangling CLines report.

2. Pick the x-y coordinates from the report then..

3. Will open the layer where the dangline was generated/is at then...

4. Will zoom in to the dangline.

I'm not too familiar with the coding part so I don't know which command to usebut if you can point me to one that might help.

Thanks and much appreciated,

T

     Hi Tolstoy

the good news is Cadence has already done all the coding :-)

    Just do the following

     Tools->Quick Reports->Dangling Lines Report

Voila now just click on the x and y co-ordinates to view each of the dangling lines

    regards

    Thanks vramanan,

Is there a way to set it up so that it (the cline) will open just the layer it's on? Currently, I have to manually open the routing layer then select the x-y coordinates. One less step to do if it can be done.

    Regards,

    T
