Delete Shape Objects

Hello, I'm trying to delete some auto generated shapes on a layer. dbDeleteObject and axlDeleteObject both give me the error,

W- Cannot delete element type: Shape(auto-generated) "I17_Ch_Gnd, Etch/Lay17_Gnd-.3".

Is there some other command to do this?

Is the shape auto generated which the object is "Figure". If so, I think you will need to select the "Figure" object to delete it. I am not sure will it works, but you may try.
