Hi all,

I'm currently trying autoroute option on the .brd file using Route->Route Editor Command. Then with a do file the board file is routed using smart_route command. While imprting that ses file to the Allegro PCB Design GXL,an error "Program has encountered a problem and must exit. The database will be saved (if applicable)."

Can anyone please give a solution to this?

Thanks,

Neha.

If you have got this far, as in the board is routed and you get an issue like this, I would recommend that you go to the downloads site and get the latest hotfix. If the problem persists, you will need to contact Cadence through online support and provide them with the relevant files to get this investigated, it is unlikely that this is a issue with settings and more likely to be design / installation or bug related.
