User Input?

Hi,

How can I get Allegro PCB Editor to accept user input?  For example, when the user types + (plus), I want Allegro to capture that and store in a variable - do I need to create a Form and a Field (in that Form) to get user input?  Just wondering if there's a built in Allegro Skill or Skill function for that?

Thanks,
Varun

     Hi Varun,

It's a bit kludgey, but you can try axlUIPrompt(). It will display a small form and return a string entered by the user. I can't say it's terribly pretty, but it might work for you.
