Remove BackSlash on a string

Hi Guys

I am stuck on this issue for a while now basically this is want I want to do

 I want to write a string to a text file but without the quotes, so I use stringToSymbol

but the problem is when ever a string starts with a number rather than alphabets the function adds a backslash to the numbers

 

for example

str = "0201AAA"

concat(str) => gives out \0\2\0\1AAA as the answer

 

This s**ks because all I want was just 0201AAA

 

but if str = "A0201AAA"

concat(str) would give A0201AAA without the quotes perfect

 

My intention is to use this value in an fprintf statement so that the "quotes" are not printed on the file
