Is there a way to plot multiple artwork layers to a PDF?

We currenly plot each film layer to a PDF for viewing.  At this time, it has to be done one film layer at a time.  I want to know if there is a way, either in SKILL or a script, to plot some, or all, of the films defined in Manufacturing Artwork.  When you are talking about sometimes 15-20 film layers, it could save a lot of time.

Since I'm generating gerbers anyway I use a tool called viewmate, you can get a freeware version, and it has this handy option in the print section called print all board layers (one per page) then I just print to my pdf printer.

    Yes, visit www.daltools.com

The "dal plot" program does what you are asking.  Watch the demo.  There is a temporary license in the download zip file that will allow you to try it out.

From your pdf files you can create a single file by using pdfcreator (an open source program for windows) :

    - Open the first pdf file and print it using the pdfcreator printer.

    - In the pop up windows clic on the "wait - collect" button instead of "save"

    - Next prints will be placed in queue, so print every things you need

    - Go in the PDFCreator window, select all documents in queue and clic on the "Combine" button

    - Clic on the "printer stop" button to quit the waiting mode

    - In the pop up windows clic on the "save" button to create your single pdf file

I'm using this tool to create a single pdf file containing all views needed for my reports from the Allegro free viewer using scripts. The only thing I need to do manually is to place the printer in waiting mode so I print a Title page to do this. With Allegro free viewer you can record and replay everything you want (hide/show layers, change colors ....), it's really usefull.

If you just want to get a pdf file with all original layers information, you can refer to following process:artwork-->dxf-->pdf
