how to get error response from axlShell

Hi

I need to run a command using axlShell, but no matter what command I run the result is true and not the error code

return=axlShell("garbage")

Skill > ret=axlShell("garbage")
E- Command not found: garbage
t

Now the value of return is t since the command executed, but I would like to know the "E" part which tells that the command did not succeed.

Any ideas? My own suggestion is to write a script and do the same, that should produce an error.

Best regards

Ole

    maybe not the typical "skill" solution...

    1. check if the file to be executed is a valid file -- skip module if not

    2. if its a valid application, check/read for the log file of the app after running axlShell
