Reconstructing of boardfile using artfiles and drill files.

Hi,

Is it possible to construct original board file from art files and drill files?If anyone knows, please explain.

  • My guess would be, that You need indeed 2 things more :

         The IPC netlist or Tango netlist.

    And

         Pick and place files (to understand use of footprints).

    But from this, yes it might be possible, but not easy and it's going to be a very time consuming task. How ? hmm reverse engineering is not for this forum :-) sorry.
