Insert wait time

Hi

Does anyone know of a way to insert a waiting time in skill?

sometimes it seems like the skill code proceeds even though e.g. axlShell or runBatchFile commands are not finished.

Best regards

Ole

    Hi Dave

    I may have a solution although it is somehow dirty.

    It seems like nothing continues until a "system" command is finished.

    So create a batch file (my_batfile.bat) that does something (timeout /T 10) for a 10 second delay. Use standard file creation functionality for this. If you work with unc paths you need to include 2 more lines in your.

    my_batfile.bat content

    pushd %~dp0

    timeout /T 10

    popd

    Then run the command

    system("my_batfile.bat)

    and when done, delete the file

    if( isFile( "my_batfile.bat") then deleteFile("my_batfile.bat"))

    I hope this works out for you (and me) :-)

    Best regards
