Insert wait time

Hi

Does anyone know of a way to insert a waiting time in skill?

sometimes it seems like the skill code proceeds even though e.g. axlShell or runBatchFile commands are not finished.

Best regards

Ole

    Hi

Along the same lines, I'm having a skill program call another skill program (with its own gui)

The problem I'm seeing is that the calling skill program continues and does not wait for me to finished the other skill program.

What would the solution to this be?

The GUI skill program will either need to have its form be blocking or insert a dummy axlEnterEvent loop (see in cdsroot the example file cns-design.il). Either method will prevent the other GUI code from returning to the calling skill program until the user has finished with it.

    Guys

In my company they have some internal functions that would do what we want

I can't give the code but I can say that they use the IPC functionality

basically you write a function to pass the command line/batch file as an argument to a IPC process and wait for the return value

     best of luck

    regards
