How to create voids on existing shapes?

Hi,

How can I create voids on existing (closed) shapes?
Based on what I've read, we can only create voids on open shapes.
But how can we make closed shapes be an open shapes?

Please help.. Thanks

Have you tried using axlDBOpenShape?
