    Hi

If you wan't to open a filemanager/explorer for the current directory you should be able to use the command filemgr

    axlShell("filemgr")

You could also look at the different axlDMxxx skill functions that will provide you with different directory browse functions.

    Best regards

    Ole

    Hi Ejlersen:

"filemgr" is not my purpose. I wanna call out this window and get back the directory path that I select.
And I looked for all the axlDMxxx skill functions. Just "axlDMDirectoryBrowse" can be used for directory selecting. But still the window is not what I thought.
    Thank you all the same!

The problem with the directory browser you show in your picture, while provided by Microsoft, it is not resizable so if your directory is nested deep in the hierarchy the name will be truncated.

The  axlDMDirectoryBrowse("." nil) provides a directory browser which is used elsewhere in Allegro plus it can be resized.
