Printing at a specific column position

Geoff

I've been having trouble printing data to a column - is it possible? Presently I am using a tab: \t

 fprintf(ViaList, "%s \t %L  \t %s\n" ViaType ViaXY ViaName))

How can I line up all output into columns?

See the effect of: printf("%-20s%L%20s", ViaType ViaXY ViaName) The width parameters (-20 and 20) pad the strings - either left or right justified.

    Thanks Dave.

I tried that before and it wasn't working for some reason - now it works - kind of strange...
