undefined function - axlDBNetCreate

hi

I'm pretty new to SKILL, so maybe I just missed something simple. I started a new project in Allegro PCB Designer and can use several axl-functions but not the axlDBNetCreate. I found following example in the help:

net = axlDBNetCreate("net1")

but it returns

E- *Error* eval: undefined function - axlDBNetCreate

Adding a new net manually in the GUI by "Logic->Net Logic" works after I ticked the logic_edit_enabled option in the user preferences.

Anyone having an idea what I'm doing wrong?

Thanks, Marcel

    Some skill functions may not available for use in previous releases like 15 ver. Please refer the installed help files to cross check.

    mmhhh, I'm using release 16.5 with the latest hotfix. So this shouldn't be the problem. How can I check if my release or Allegro version supports this command? In the help files this function is listed.

    Marcel seems like you are the 1st person to use this function :-)

    The syntax for axlDBCreateNet() is wrongly mentioned as axlDBNetCreate()

    I will create service request to Cadence to fix it.
