detecting dbid is removed

Hi, a variable stored with a database object id will appear as "dbid:removed" when the object is deleted

(or the function terminated). but the variable is still a valid variable, not nil or unbound. is there a function

to detect the dbid still exists in the database (not removed)? for an example,

Skill> aa

dbid: removed

one way of approach is:

Skill> aa->?

nil

is there a specific function for that? thx in advance.
