Is there away to get a list of keys in a association list?

example:
test='(("XY_1" (0 60) ("XY_2" (0 60))
I want:
(XY_1 XY_2)

I want to be able to cycle through each key and manipulate the information.

I know I can get a list of keys in a table by mytable->? But this does not work for a list.

Try usining mapcar
ie mapcar('car test)
