Allegro PCB --> Export Placement ????

I have a two sided PCB and the goal is to generate two placement files; one for the top, and one for the bottom.

How is this accomplished?

Currently if I run File --> Export --> Placement, it generates one file with the top and bottom components mixed together in one file.  Also the bottom side coordinates appear to be relative to the top origin looking through the board.

Tools --> Reports -->Component report  seems to generate the same mixed result.

    How do you control if the data is relative to body center or pin 1?

    The report you are creating should be relative to the symbol origin.

    Looking in the files, I see:

    PIN_X, PIN_Y

    SYM_X,SYM_Y

    Is Sym == Symbol == Body Center?

    Is PIN==Pin1

    Apologies for the True / False foul up, should have tested before posting! SYM_X and SYM_Y will be location of the Symbol origin on the board, viewed from above. The Symbol Origin will be where the "0,0" point is on the library symbol from when it was designed, this would typically be Body Centre for Surface Mount and Pin 1 Centre for Through Hole but it doesn't have to be that! The assembly house will compensate for the location they require from the details that you provide about the values in your placement data.

    Do you know where disappeared menus "File - Export" or "Tool - Reports"? This thread is the only source of XY data export in ORCAD :(
