    You need to see what you are doing in the allegro.men file

    At a minimum you need to have the command in the menu entry as:

        skill  _createDir()

    Im loading extra menu as dynamic menu, I have two other skill files are working, and two scripts replay work fine. I have this in allegro.ilinit ; Create Dir Skill 8.1
    ;Allegro Command(s) = createDir
    load("createDir.il")

    skill _createDir() ;added your suggestion but didn't work

    ;Dynamic menus for Allegro - New 16.6 SKILL Function "axlUIMenuInsert"
    load("Dynamic_Menus.il") and this in Dynamic_Menus.il file :MENU = '(
    (popup "APPs")
    ("FAB Output" "replay FAB_OUT") ;this one is working
    ("Plot All Layers" "replay Plot_PDF") ;this one is working
    ("Change Net on VIA" "change_vianet") ;this one is working
    ("Create folder in current working directory-prototype)" "createDir") ;this one doesnt work
    )

    change: ("Create folder in current working directory-prototype)" "createDir")

    to: ("Create folder in current working directory-prototype)" "skill _createDir()")

    or keep your menu code and add the following Skill statement:

    axlCmdRegister("createdir" '_createDir ?cmdType "general")
